First meeting - The Right Action Theatre Collective

We're a bold, new guerrilla theatre group dedicated to stirring people's minds, to challenging long-held assumptions, and to creating a better world!

During rehearsals we'll explore ideas related to social and eco justice, we'll develop our acting and improvisational skills, and we'll collaborate on ways to educate and engage the public. Guerrilla performances will take a range of forms, but always out among the public, and they may not even know they're witnessing (or involved in) a performance. The group is open to ages 13 to 120 and all acting abilities are welcome. Let's shake things up!

As this is the first meeting, we'll get things started with an intro to the group, a range of fun drama exercises, and then we'll jump right into rehearsing for our first guerrilla performance!

Rehearsals are held at the Onehunga Community Centre, 83 Church Street.
Wednesdays 6:00 to 8:00 PM, beginning May 15
