GDAMS is the key date each year for the Global Campaign on Military Spending (GCOMS), and is marked each year by events and activities around the world on the day the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) releases the new global expenditure figures - this year, GDAMS is on Monday, 24 April, part of a fortnight of activities running from 18 - 28 April.
Peace Movement Aotearoa coordinates the national GCOMS - the Aotearoa New Zealand Campaign on Military Spending.
