No one is illegal, Australia!
Show your support for asylum seekers affected by the Australian Government's mandatory offshore detention policy. We're going to turn the Australian High Commission in Thorndon into a symbolic detention centre-show them how it feels to be locked in!
We're acting in support of protests in the detention centre on Nauru, which will reach their 100th day on the 23rd of June, and a national day of civil disobedience in Australia. People in detention centres are subject to inhumane and degrading treatment, torture and sexual violence because of the Australian Government's policy of mandatory detention for asylum seekers.
Over the past two decades their treatment of asylum seekers has become increasing barbaric and grotesque. The policy receives support from both major political parties despite being in violation of international law.
