Public Meeting - Kids in Nature, 5 days a Week

Imagine a healthy future for your children. It starts with how we treat them today, and it's time we rescued our children from schools. Come hear the Kaitiaki Collective!

Join our public meeting: Let's talk about how we can provide a healthy childhood for our kids: free play in nature, involvement with community, and learning for a sustainable world.

Come ask questions, hear from some of the families involved, find out how to get homeschooling exemptions, and help shape this amazing learning initiative.

The Kaitiaki Collective recognises that current institutions merely perpetuate the status quo, and we are seeking alternatives. We are not a school; we are an alternative to school. We are the opposite of school, since we understand how humans evolved to learn and we understand that indigenous people have been raising their children through free play in nature since the time of the Ancestors.

After running 2-3 days per week in 2015, the Kaitiaki Collective is now expanding to five days a week, all year long. We provide:
- Free play in nature, five days a week
- Mixed ages (5-18)
- Connecting with community
- Learning for a sustainable world
- Democratic decision-making

November 21, 2015 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Onehunga Community Centre
