Ōtaki Summer Camp

Nau mai haere mai, nau mai hoki mai- Ōtaki Summer Camp is back for 2021! Three days of politics, discussion, speakers, music, bush, rivers and sea, in the beach community of Ōtaki, north of Wellington.

Ōtaki Summer camp is for people aged 17 to 30 with an interest in politics, anti-racism, justice, equality and the environment.

Registrations are now open! Stay tuned to our Facebook and Instagram (otakisummercamp) for announcements about speakers, musicians and more!

Tickets are $120 (including all kai and accomodation). Earlybird tickets just $100 (before 20th December), and there are scholarships available, which reduce the ticket price to $30.
Covid-19: We’ve been working with a bunch of experts to figure out our best approach with Covid-19, and the contingency plans we will have in place if we shift up levels again. We’ll be sure to keep everyone updated. In the case of the camp being cancelled because of a shift in alert levels, all tickets will be fully refunded.

Check out our FAQ on the website for info on accessibility, accommodation, and travel.
