Are you worried about the pervasiveness of racism in New Zealand? Do you struggle with knowing how to handle racist comments and conversations when they are happening around you?

Are you worried about the pervasiveness of racism in New Zealand? Do you struggle with knowing how to handle racist comments and conversations when they are happening around you? Begin to use your Pākehā privilege for the betterment of society by learning to engage with racism in ways that make space for meaningful change and minimise defensive reactions. In this workshop you will get a chance to:

1) Develop a criteria so that you can make quick decisions as to when intervention from you is necessary
2) Practice having types of conversations that have the potential to challenge racism in a way that is productive
3) Focus on how we can having loving relationships that have also hold people accountable when they have views that can hurt people.

This workshop is specifically for people who benefit from white privilege.
