Wellington Zinefest 2017 will be held on Saturday November 18th from 11-4pm at the Wellington High School Hall, 249 Taranaki Street.
It's that time of year again!
Wellington Zinefest 2017 will be held on Saturday November 18th from 11-4pm at the Wellington High School Hall, 249 Taranaki Street. Parking is available in the school's parking area.
60+ stallholders will be selling zines and other self published projects and DIY merchandise for an epic zine market day! Sales are cash only, or you can bring your own zines to trade!
There will be a collaborative DIY table at the market open to anyone who wants to contribute to Wellington Zinefest's collaborative zine for 2017. Pens, paper, glue, scissors and other making materials will be provided. Feel free to add a page or two of your original work to this zine!
We would like to emphasise that Zinefest is an all-inclusive event and we aim to be a safe space for all - no discriminatory speech or actions will be tolerated. With this in mind, we have created a code of conduct document that we expect everyone to pay mind to. Read the full content of the code of conduct here.
Wellington Zinefest merchandise will be available for purchase on the day - tees and totes galore! Eftpos is available to pay for these, but we can't offer cash out or eftpos payments for zine purchases.
The Zinefest after party will be held at Pyramid Club on Taranaki Street, just over the road from Wellington High School, from 7pm. We'll have some fantastic bands, and will be announcing the Best of the Fest awards!
