Protest: ChCh Cathedral Sq against National's attack on the workers!

Kia ora Koutou,

   
     A call out has been made to demonstrate tomorrow, SUNDAY 18th, between 10am - 12noon at Christchurch Cathedral Square - we need to make sure that National's Anti-Worker proposals are stopped!!!

* the 90 day "no rights" trial period that presently applies to new workers in small businesses is going to be applied to all businesses, and

* the right of union members to see a union organiser in their workplace is going to be restricted so the organiser can only be there if the employer consents.


     Unite, along with a number of local organisations, NGO's and activists will be there with megaphones and banners - make sure you pass the message on! We can not afford to sit back and watch.
