A public meeting to organise against user-pays, commercialisation and privatisation of residential water supply in Wellington. Speakers from Right to Water and Kapiti Water Action Group, a short video (probably) and plenty of time for everyone to discuss and organise next steps.

Nationally and in Wellington, the government is threatening the human right to water through promoting user-pays and private sector involvement in water delivery. User-pays for water hurts low income families, allows rich people to keep wasting water and turns a human right into a commodity.
