On 15 May 2013, 'Sewing Freedom: Philip Josephs, Transnationalism & Early New Zealand Anarchism' by Jared Davidson was launched in Wellington, New Zealand. Held at the Museum of Wellington City & Sea, the launch featured talks by Mark Derby (00:14 and 20:22), Barry Pateman (03:14), and Jared Davidson (23:00). This is the footage of those speeches, delivered to around 65 people in the historic Boardroom.

The speeches touch on the life and times of Philip Josephs, the formation of anarchist groups and anarchist communism in New Zealand, and the international networks between New Zealand and figures like Emma Goldman.
