There are two actions to stop the weapons conference this week

Wednesday, 18 Nov 6pm at TSB Arena. Bring your friends, food, two left feet, anything that makes a tune or a beat!

The entrance of the weapons conference was blockaded in 2015 & on 18 Feb 26 all, bar one of those arrested, appear in court. But the court case will not hinder opposition to war profiteers and plans are already afoot to stop this year's conference.
This year’s principal sponsor of New Zealand’s annual weapons conference, due to be held on 16 & 17 October in Wellington, is Lockheed Martin, one of the world’s largest weapons manufacturers.
26 people were arrested for protesting the annual Weapons Conference in November 2015. The protest blockaded the entrance of the Wellington council run TSB Arena where arms dealers and NZ Defence Forces met to discuss weapons and war.
Lockheed Martin, the major sponsor of next month’s Weapons Conference at the TSB Arena in Wellington, manufacturers the Hellfire missiles fired by drone aircraft. CAE, also a sponsor of the conference, is responsible for training the drone pilots.
