In the Northern Territory, communities are uniting against dangerous fracking in their country. This is an urgent time, with the NT government deciding whether to lift a temporary ban and open up 85% of the Territory for gas companies to frack.

Across the Northern Territory, communities are uniting against the threat to their country from dangerous fracking.

This is an urgent time, with the NT government deciding whether to lift the temporary ban on fracking and open up 85% of the Territory for gas companies to frack.

We can’t let this happen if we want to protect country, water and climate for future generations.

That’s why Aboriginal communities are taking action, like Borroloola, which recently became the first Aboriginal Community in Australia to declare themselves free from fracking Gasfields.

Now, Traditional Owners and leaders from Aboriginal communities all around the Territory are uniting at a fracking forum in Darwin, but we need your support to make it happen.

Please give now to support NT Traditional Owners to have their say on fracking and continue protecting country for future generations.

This forum will be brought together by Traditional Owners from the regions across the Mcarthur and Beetaloo basins as well as other Aboriginal communities facing the threat of fracking.

Will you donate to help make this forum happen and stand with mob from the Territory?

There is so much at stake here in the fight to ban fracking in the NT, but with your help we can win.

Your donation will support:
$15 - Dinner for Traditional Owner participants
$50 - Forum costs per Traditional Owner participant (venue, lunch, transport)
$70 - Accommodation per night for Traditional Owner participants
$100 - Bus ticket from remote communities to Darwin one way

PS. If you know anybody in Darwin who would be interested in coming to one of our two events this weekend, please share this email with them:

Water Is Life Rally - Territory Big Day Out to Ban Fracking Saturday 18th of November at 10am. Facebook event:

Aboriginal Fracking Forum Sunday and Monday 19th and 20th of November please remember to RSVP here.

In solidarity,

Millie and Larissa, for the whole Seed Mob team
