Students Occupy Victoria University

Student group We Are the University have occupied the skybridge across Kelburn Parade, at Victoria University. A friend texted me tonight from inside the student occupation. Apparently negotiations with the university management broke down at 9pm, when the group refused to leave, and police were called. The group negotiated with the police, who left without taking action. The students are spending the night in the skybridge.
