FREE FILM SCREENING.

'Rocking The Foundations'  a history of the NSW Builders Laborers Federation 1940-1974

Saturday August 28th.

1pm.

WEA (Workers' Educational Association - 59 Glouchester st).

This inspirational documentary shows what's possible when a union is organised from the bottom up.
The rank-and-file of the BLF in Sydney battled against union bureaucrats, greedy bosses and city developers
and put in place effective 'Green Bans' - fighting together with the wider community and environmentalists to
win their struggles. Solidarity at its finest: - this is a must see.
