Event: AFA Suppa Club
Come and meet other people interested in animal rights at our monthly vegan dinner. It is a social and informal occassion to introduce yourself, get to know people, chat and get involved.

Event: Animal Sanctuary Visit
This weekend we took some people to visit The Sanctuary in Matakana. We think it is important for people to meet and get to know animals who are happy and free as well as seeing them on our farm tours.

isn't it great afa is doing all of this work for ar? it puts safe ,nzavs ,etc to shame. so why don't the people running afa take over these insitutions so they can do even more work for ar and to take control of ar movement in nz? because at the moment ar movement in nz is in control by those who are only about living the high lifestyle ,like living rent free in a building owned by one of the institutions ,having flights overseas and living there off the funds of another institution while animals carry on suffering. if these people don't want to take control then it will be up to other people to contact safe ,nzavs ,etc directly either by phone ,email , snail mail or their internet sites ,myspace ,facebook ,etc to voice their displeasure at their lazy attitude or to take over these institutions themselves. it's only once these institutions are taken away by the current regime of greedy people and are in control by the right people who are passionate about ar then true ar can begin and the ar movement in nz stops getting a bad reputation.

Good article, thanks for putting it here.  It shows SAFE, NZAVS, etc are useless because all they do is bring a knife to a gun fight and are run by people who pee on your leg and then tell you it's raining, while they have their hands out for funds.  http://www.directaction.info/

Good luck with contacting SAFE and the NZAVS. They won't listen. AFA taking over these groups is bloody brilliant.
