Broiler Conference Protest Action Today in Auckland
30 friends of the animals gathered outside the Langham Hotel today to protest the abuse and exploitation of 'broiler' chickens.
For two and a half hours protesters banged drums, blew whistles and chanted on megaphones in solidarity with our feathered friends, the 80 million broiler chickens imprisoned on 'farms'nationwide.
All this under the watchful eyes of many police and security guards inside and outside the hotel, who had been called on in anticipation of our arrival.
Details of further protest action for the week will be posted here soon.
