New Zealand PM in political sex shock!
HELEN'S SECRET DESIRE:
A SEX CHANGE!
Does the Prime Minister really want what she cutely calls a "Georgina"? An nztabloid source has told of late night revelations when Helen came clean about her secret desires.
EXCLUSIVE:
Sexual rumour has constantly surrounded Prime Minister Helen Clark, even before she took office. Clark is well known for the powerful lesbian coterie that surrounds her, which includes Heather Simpson, Clark's chief of staff, and Dot Kettle, a senior advisor.
Clark's personal relationships have often been scrutinised, in particular her lengthy friendship with the bisexual Labour cabinet minister Judith Tizard and her marriage to Peter Davis - with questions asked about its convenient "arrangements", if any.
In an email leaked to nztabloid we are told of a late night conversation that took place two years ago in a Parliamentary function room, referred to by staff as the "Thorndon Room" because of its view, where Clark made shocking revelations about her desires to have a sex-change, from female to male.
The nztabloid source reported that Clark was "rather tipsy and relaxed" at around 1.30am after a few wines at a function for Lianne Dalziel. Both Dalziel and Heather Simpson were also present for the late-night gathering.
It was then that Clark candidly told our secret insider and a Labour party researcher that, in the past, she had dressed up as a drag-king whilst in Auckland.
A 'drag king' is the opposite of a 'drag queen' and it is a term usually used when a lesbian dresses as a man, frequently with glued-on facial hair. Drag kings will often wear false male genitals under their trousers.
Clark still frequently wears trousers. She made international headlines when she wore them at a formal dinner attended by Queen Elizabeth in February 2002 in Wellington. Clark's choice of dress sparked tabloid headlines worldwide.
Clark also confided to our source that as a child she had always thought she was going to eventually get what she called "a Georgina". Our insider took this to mean a sex-change, in a "good-humoured" reference to Georgina Beyer, the MP for Wairarapa, the world's first elected transsexual politician.
Beyer has referred to herself as a "gelding" in the past because the sex-change operation involves the removal of her original male organs.
Many transsexuals report having feelings of discomfort about their gender when they are children and frequently display their feelings by dressing as members of the opposite sex. Young transsexuals also have a strong desire to change their birth gender and dream of operations to change themselves to what they think of as their true gender.
In the case of women, like the Prime Minister, this operation is more complex than gender reassignment of a male. Women who want to be men begin by taking male hormones. Extensive plastic surgery then takes place with a penis being constructed from the skin of the thigh.
All the way through the conversation with Clark, the nztabloid source saw Heather Simpson, widely regarded as the power throne behind Clark, "scrunch up her face in a worrisome and alarmed attitude" because of the Prime Minister's "lurid" statements, which are surfacing for the first time - exclusively - on nztabloid.
Further revelations occurred when the guests, including Clark, began speculating on other MPs who "might" have had a "Georgina" or "should" have one. Names mentioned included that of the National Party Justice spokesperson, Tony Ryall.
The office for National's Bill English were last week distancing themselves from the allegations. "While we would like to have another hit at the PM I don't think this is a good one" said a National party spokesperson.
When the Prime Minister's press secretary Mike Munro was contacted by nztabloid for comment on this story he said: "the whole thing is a work of fiction".
Munro said the Prime Minister "doesn't respond to anonymous and confused rubbish like this", adding that in the whole time he had worked with the Prime Minister she had never stayed up till 1.30am at a Parliamentary function.
When pressed to address the issue of Clark considering a sex change, Munro stated to our reporter: "You seem unable to grasp the point of my response. By fiction I mean it never happened."
At no stage did Munro approach the Prime Minister for comment and added that nztabloid had never allowed facts to contaminate its "junky website".

what is this??
why is indymedia relying on tabloid news? are we just trying to talk shit? and why is a sex change a scandal? this does not concern anyone, really, and should not be considered news. i'd like to take it as a joke, but still, i'm confused...is the author trying to make a joke by having a tabloid as a source. and why is this a feature? there's a whole lot more going on in the world right now, although maybe not so much comic relief.

reia - we are definately not here to talk shit! this site runs an open publishing newswire, which means anyone can post stories and posts do not get approved before they are published. Sometimes this policy gets abused, and those abusive articles are usually hidden pretty quickly. We have a process for hiding stories -in general we need editorial team approval before any article can be hidden. Sometimes this takes a bit of time but is an important process . This story stayed up for an hour or so before the ed team hid it, thats pretty good i reckon.
Heres our ed policy:
